Amir wins NEPTA Piano Competition

On March 28, 2015, Amir was awarded First Prize the New England Piano Teacher’s Association’s Ruth Davidson Piano Competition, held at Steinert Hall in Boston.

Amir Selected to Compete in Cliburn International Junior Piano Competition

Amir was selected as one of the twenty-four young pianists from around the world to compete in the inaugural Cliburn International Junior Piano Competition, which will take place June 21 – 28, 2015 in Fort Worth, TX. He is one of the nine US representatives. See for more info.

Amir Wins Eleanor B. Nelson Concerto Competition

Amir was awarded first prize in the Quincy Symphony Orchestra’s Eleanor B. Nelson Concerto Competition. He will be featured in the QSO’s spring concert, and will also receive the Robert E. Brown Scholarship. He will be performing Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the QSO on April 12 at 2:30 pm at the Lloyd Hill Performing Arts Center in Quincy. Admission is free.
